250 MW Xinjiang Shuanghe Wind-Solar-Storage Hybrid Project
Harsh desert environments offer abundant solar resources, but extreme temperature swings, windblown sand and saline-alkali conditions can pose significant challenges to module performance and reliability. These conditions are on full display at the 100 MW Shuanghe PV project in Xinjiang, northwestern China, where Dinto Solar's HJT technology is helping transform desert resources into long-term clean energy value.

Located in the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains, the project forms part of a 250 MW integrated wind-solar-storage development, comprising 100 MW of solar capacity, 150 MW of wind power, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and a 59-km transmission line.
Large day-night temperature differences and harsh winters demand modules capable of delivering stable performance year-round. Dinto Solar's G12-132 HJT modules feature a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C, enabling lower power losses under high temperatures. With bifaciality exceeding 90% and excellent low-light performance, the modules can achieve an additional 2–5% energy yield from rear-side generation, further improving project economics.
The modules are engineered for durability, with first-year degradation below 1% and more than 90.3% power retention after 30 years, supporting higher lifetime energy yield and stable long-term returns.

Commissioned in December 2024, the project surpassed 100 million kWh of cumulative power generation by August 19, 2025. At full-year operation, annual solar output is expected to reach 173 million kWh, equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by approximately 53,000 tonnes and avoiding around 129,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
For Dinto Solar, the Shuanghe project represents more than a utility-scale installation. It serves as a real-world demonstration of how HJT technology can deliver reliable, high-efficiency power generation under some of the industry's most demanding operating conditions.
As demand grows for resilient and high-performance solar solutions, Dinto Solar continues to advance HJT innovation to unlock greater value across diverse climates and applications.
