Dinto Solar HJT Updates | April: Longgang at Full Capacity, Orders Secured

>Full-capacity Operation<

Strong Q1 Performance with Sustained Full Capacity in Longgang

Dinto Solar reported a strong first quarter, with its Longgang manufacturing facility operating at full capacity. Output averages 2,100 modules per shift and 4,100–4,200 modules per day, with orders secured through the first half of the year.

Supported by advanced HJT technology and processes such as zero-busbar (0BB) and copper fingers plating, demand continues to grow across domestic and international markets. Since H2 last year, production has remained fully utilized, with new 0BB lines ramping to full capacity in just two months, highlighting strong execution and manufacturing efficiency.

Dinto Solar is advancing copper HJT technology and low-silver metallization to further reduce solar cell and module manufacturing costs,” said Tommy Xu, Senior Vice President of Dinto Solar and Executive Director of the Longgang Base.

>Market Expansion<

Entering the Middle East Market

Dinto Solar has joined the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), marking a step toward localized market development.

With extreme heat and harsh desert conditions, HJT technology offers clear advantages, including a low temperature coefficient (-0.24%/°C) and bifaciality above 90%, supporting stable energy yield in high-irradiance environments.

Expanding Presence in India

Dinto Solar continues to build its presence in India. This month, the company hosted Indian clients at its Longgang base for discussions on long-term HJT supply. In parallel, a partnership with a local distributor was established, further strengthening market access and supporting future order growth.

4.4 MW Shipment to the Philippines

Dinto Solar completed delivery of the first 4.4 MW batch of HJT modules to a project in the Philippines, demonstrating efficient overseas execution and supporting clean energy deployment in Southeast Asia.

> Technology & Innovation<

Supporting 29.68% Efficiency in HJT-Perovskite Tandem Cells

Dinto Solar contributed to a pilot-scale perovskite/silicon tandem project by supplying HJT bottom cells and compatible surface texturing technology.

The project achieved a certified conversion efficiency of 29.68% on a 210 mm × 105 mm cell, providing validation for the commercialization of high-efficiency tandem technology.

Launching Low-Degradation R&D Program

Dinto Solar has initiated a dedicated R&D program targeting degradation resistance under high-UV and extreme climate conditions.

The program focuses on identifying key degradation drivers and developing optimized module solutions, aligning with upcoming 2026 environmental stress standards and enhancing long-term reliability in demanding environments.

HJT Included in India’s ALMM List

HJT technology has been included in India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), with 1.2 GW+ of cell capacity approved.

From June 2026, government projects will require ALMM-listed products, positioning HJT as a key technology pathway in India’s domestic manufacturing strategy.

U.S. Advances 2.1 GW HJT Solar Cell Capacity

The first commercial HJT production line in the United States (2.1 GW) has entered trial operation in Indiana. An additional 4.2 GW is planned, bringing total capacity to 6.3 GW by the end of 2026.This development reflects continued global expansion of HJT manufacturing capacity.
